Active Platform Data Processing Scope

  • X (Twitter): public posts, public profile metadata, and engagement signals used for mention detection and trend monitoring.
  • Reddit: public posts and comments from relevant communities for reputation and issue tracking.
  • YouTube: public video metadata and comments for brand sentiment and campaign impact analysis.
  • RSS / News: publicly available news and feed content for media monitoring and early risk detection.
  • Instagram: data from connected business assets, including eligible mention/hashtag or page-level activity where permitted by platform policies.
  • Facebook: data from connected pages, posts, and comments where account permissions allow.
  • LinkedIn: data from connected company-page activity and related engagement signals where permitted.
  • Website URL: publicly available web page content provided by the customer for monitoring.
  • TikTok: data from connected accounts and related performance signals where permitted.
  • Google Reviews: Google Business Profile review content and ratings from explicitly authorized accounts.
  • Google Play Store: public app metadata and store review content for authorized app package identifiers.
  • Apple App Store: public app metadata and store review content for authorized app identifiers.

Platform Authorization & Consent Requirements

To activate monitoring safely and lawfully, customers must complete and maintain valid approvals for every connected platform.

  • X (Twitter): Monitoring is limited to publicly available data, and customers must have a documented lawful basis for tracking selected queries, brands, or accounts.
  • Reddit: Monitoring uses publicly accessible subreddit and comment content; customers are responsible for lawful query selection and purpose limitation.
  • YouTube: Monitoring uses public video and comment data; customers must ensure lawful use and compliance with YouTube API and platform terms.
  • RSS / News: Monitoring covers publicly available publisher feeds and links; customers must respect publisher rights and applicable local regulations.
  • Instagram: Customers may connect only business assets they own or are authorized to administer, with all required internal and client approvals in place.
  • Facebook: Customers may connect only pages they own or are authorized to manage, and are responsible for maintaining valid permissions and approvals.
  • LinkedIn: Customers may connect only company pages they are authorized to administer and must ensure corporate consent for monitoring and analysis.
  • Website URL: Customers must monitor only domains they own or are explicitly authorized to track, including any third-party content rights obligations.
  • TikTok: Customers may connect only accounts they own or are explicitly authorized to manage, with valid OAuth authorization and business approvals.
  • Google Reviews: Customers may connect only Google Business Profile assets they own or are authorized to manage under explicit OAuth consent.
  • Google Play Store: Customers must provide only authorized app package identifiers and valid service credentials, and must comply with Google Play and local data-protection rules.
  • Apple App Store: Customers must provide only authorized app identifiers and use monitoring outputs in compliance with Apple policies and applicable legal obligations.

Google User Data Usage

SociGuard accesses Google user data only after explicit user authorization via OAuth 2.0.

Data Accessed:

  • Google Business Profile account information
  • Customer reviews and ratings

Data Usage:

  • To analyze customer reviews using AI-based sentiment analysis
  • To provide insights, alerts, and reputation monitoring dashboards

Data Sharing:

  • We do not sell or share Google user data with third parties
  • Data may be processed by secure infrastructure providers (e.g., cloud hosting) strictly for service delivery

Data Storage & Protection:

  • Data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption and access controls
  • Access is restricted to authorized systems only

Data Retention & Deletion:

  • Data is retained only as long as necessary for service functionality
